How to make your own chicken bone broth
Use chicken bones from whole chicken, chicken wings, bone-in chicken, fried chicken dinners to make your own nutrient-dense super food called chicken bone broth.

- 1 quart Chicken bones as clean as possible
- 2 inches Water 2 inches covering bones
- 2 whole Carrots celery, onions (all or any combo)
- 3 cloves Fresh garlic peeled and smashed then let them sit for 10 minutes before adding
- 1 tsp Herbs (dried, fresh use 1 tbsp) like oregano, basil, thyme, rosemary, sage are optional
- 2 tsp Real salt
- 1 tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper
- Splash of apple cider vinegar
Put all ingredients into a sauce or soup pot.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer at least 3 hours.
Strain vegetables and bones.
Let liquid cool then pour into air tight containers.
Store in the fridge or freeze for later or pressure can for pantry storage.
Note: Measurements are not precise. You will get a feel for how much to add of each, You may find it needs more salt after it is done simmering if you wish to sip bone broth as a drink.
