Quick Breakfast Biscuits

Perfect little rounds for batching out morning breakfasts for on-the-go

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 tbsp butter

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, add 2 cups of self-rising flour, 1 1/2 cups of heavy whipping cream, and a pinch of salt. Mix until a dough is formed.
  2. Lightly dust a clean countertop or surface. Roll out the dough in to a circle with a thickness you're okay with.
  3. Aim for 1/2 inch thick dough.
  4. Cut out about 8 biscuits.
  5. Place biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper touching one another.
  6. Bake at 500 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Remove biscuits from the oven to brush on melted butter.
