The Best Cookies
Maybe you need cookies for Christmas Eve traditions or perhaps you’ve been invited to a Christmas cookie exchange, I’ve got you! These chocolate chip cookies by my son are always a hit.
Bonus: these cookies are perfect for a day of one stop Christmas crafts with your children!

Fun fact: he is 13 years old and took these photos for his blog post recipe. I think I may need to hire him to take all of my blog photos!
Rolled Beeswax Candles
A perfect gift and simple craft for Christmas, these rolled beeswax candles will be loved by all recipients! Bonus: Fox Farm Home is one of my favorite weekly newsletters to receive and these sisters have contributed to several of my blogger friends & me posts. Thanks, ladies!

Cinnamon Ornaments
AKA memory makers. This DIY cinnamon ornaments craft is one found deep in my core memories from my sister in law’s mother. Yep, my sister’s childhood best friend became my sister in law and so basically she’s my sister too. Her mom taught me how to make these delightful smelling Christmas ornaments as a child and we love to make them as a family each year now.
Bonus: take a nature walk to collect holly berry and leaves, rosemary, cedar, juniper berry, and other evergreens to press into your cinnamon ornaments.

Holiday Cardboard Craft
Easy, affordable, and a great way to upcycle cardboard, this easy holiday cardboard craft is simply adorable for your kiddos to get creative this Christmas season.
Bonus: this would make a great homeschool activity this holiday season!

Free Christmas through Winter Home Decor Idea
Decorating for the Christmas and winter season doesn’t need to be made of plastic or from the latest trend “Ralph Lauren Christmas“. Go outside and forage some beautifully traditional winter home decor!
Bonus: foraging for decorations is FREE too! How-to in the button below.

Spruce up Christmas decorations with one simple and natural addition
Dried oranges and even cranberries add a pop of color to your Christmas decorations without breaking the bank or adding more plastic to the landfill. Stringing popcorn isn’t something we do much in 2025 for Christmas tree garland but it should definitely make a comeback! Edible and colorful decorations made cheap but the memories are priceless.
Bonus: save the dehydrated orange slices after the holiday decorations come down. Add to a pot of water and a few cinnamon sticks and allow it to simmer all day on the stove. Your home will smell incredible and you’ll get one more use out of those oranges before you compost them.

Fabric Christmas Crackers
These adorable Christmas Crackers make wonderful little holders for surprises for your (and by) Days Filled With Joy! See what I did there? Check out this tutorial on how to sew reusable Christmas Crackers.

Extra Special Christmas Traditions with the Grandkids
What a precious tradition to create with your grandchildren (or children) during the holidays! A handprint Christmas tree skirt. Oh the memories this craft will hold for grandkid and grandparents alike!
Bonus: make this, Mama, and gift it to the grandparents! Then encourage the grandparents to update the handprints yearly when they do their annual Christmas Cookie baking day together.

A Special Coffee for a Special Morning
Christmas morning is special for a heavenly host of reasons– JESUS! It’s the day we Christians choose to celebrate the Messiah’s birth. This is a morning that calls for that special breakfast and that sweet Christmas coffee you normally reserve for dessert or an afternoon pick-me-up. Try it this Christmas!
Bonus: homemade whipped cream is otherworldly. No Cool Whip or spray can cream can compare!
